2021-Present: Power4Flight – Engineer
Working at a small company like Power4Flight, Shaun’s broad background has allowed him to help in many areas throughout the business. Shaun works as the lead on all engine related electrical and electronics, including production and engineering support, process implementation, troubleshooting, rework and repair, prototyping and testing. Additionally, Shaun has been assisting with both customer support and business development.
2013-2021: Cloud Cap Technology – Applications Engineer \ Product Manager
After transitioning from manufacturing to support at Cloud Cap, Shaun worked initially as an application engineer supporting customers with Piccolo Autopilots and TASE Imaging systems. He also spent some time as the Piccolo Product manager before transitioning to the Customer Support team manager role.
2011-2013: Cloud Cap Technology – Sr. Manufacturing Technician
Returning to Cloud Cap as a Sr. Technician with experience building and repairing Piccolo and TASE products, Shaun was quickly promoted to avionics lead running the Piccolo, Ground Station and TASE 200 departments.
2007-2011: Advanced Navigation and Positioning Corporation – Test and Assembly Technician II
As a Technician at ANPC, Shaun Worked with the Transponder Based Landing System (or TLS) building, testing, repairing, and managing/maintaining the test system installed at The Dalles Port airfield. He also completed installations of 2 systems internationally in Santa Cruz, Brazil and Antarctica.
2005-2007: Cloud Cap Technology – Manufacturing Technician
This was Shaun’s first experience in the UAS market, and it was a great time to join the Piccolo team. Shaun worked initially building and testing / calibrating Piccolo Autopilots and Crista IMU’s. When the first TASE gimbals were released, he was also able to build some of them as well. Shaun also assisted with RMA repairs on Piccolo Autopilots.
