Job Summary
Power4Flight is looking for a senior level Electrical Engineer with circuit design, schematic capture, and PCB layout experience. This is a hands-on position and requires capabilities in detailed design, implementation, troubleshooting and test. A qualified applicant will need a broad set of skills and experience, be self-motivated, and able to work in a small team environment.
Experience in power electronics, power supply design, 3 phase brushless motor controller design and implementation, including active rectification from the 100V to 400v range is highly desirable. Familiarity with OrCAD Capture, PADS PCB, and KiCad is desired but not required.
Power4Flight is expanding our current IntelliJect ECU and IntelliGen PMU product lines and is looking for a talented and motivated design engineer to take a lead role in new design efforts as well as work within the existing product line to facilitate upgrades, make performance improvements and help improve manufacturing efficiency.

- Electronic assembly test and manufacturing process creation and optimization
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field
- Proficiency in PCB design and layout
- Ability to troubleshoot and debug electrical systems
- Familiarity with OrCAD Capture, PADS PCB, and KiCad preferred
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and system design techniques
- PCBA rework soldering surface mount and through hole experience preferred
